Waxing is one of the best ways to temporarily remove unwanted hair. It is more effective than shaving because it removes hair from the roots, not just from the skin’s surface. Over time, hair in waxed areas regrows lighter and sparser. Skin Envy Med Spa uses only the best hard wax available for all facial, bikini/brazilian and underarm services. Hard wax will not stick to the skin making it ideal for those sensitive areas. Soft wax is used for all other waxing services and contains many soothing properties minimizing discomfort.

Sugaring works by using a natural paste (sugar, water, lemon) to remove hair from the root, but unlike waxing, the paste is applied against hair growth and flicked off with it, pulling hair out in its natural direction, which reduces breakage and ingrown hairs. The warm paste adheres to hair and dead skin cells, but because it's water-soluble and applied at body temperature, it grips less on live skin, making it gentler, especially for sensitive areas, and it's easily cleaned with water.
