This monthly plan provides the freedom and flexibility to target unwanted hair wherever it appears and is a great way to achieve permanent hair reduction results. You many choose two areas to treat each month.
Custom Choices
Clients have the choice to alternate their treatment areas on a monthly basis, tracking hair growth cycles on the body for optimal results. The hair growth cycles can vary and last several weeks - this period is critical for timing treatments that target hair in its active growth phase for best results. After treatment, it can take a minimum of eight weeks for new hair to surface.
What are the benefits?
Laser hair removal causes permanent hair reduction. You will have less hair after each treatment, plus it will reduce the number of ingrown hairs and help prevent razor bumps, burns, and irritations. The hair in the treated area will also become very fine and lighter in color. The ultimate benefit? Smoother skin.
How many treatments will I need?
Hair grows in cycles — some hair follicles are actively in a growth phase, while others are resting. Every four weeks or so, new hair will enter the growth phase. Laser hair removal only eliminates hair in its growth stage. Multiple treatments are necessary to ensure that all hair is treated.
Your medical laser specialist will help you create a custom plan based on your hair color, skin type and target treatment area. For best results, we recommend a series of at least 6 laser hair removal treatment sessions, spaced 4-8 weeks apart. Most people will need a touch-up session annually to maintain improvement.
Do I need to do anything special before being treated
For optimal results, do not bleach, wax or tweeze hairs 2-4 weeks before laser hair removal treatment. The hair must be present — a very short stubble — with its natural hair color to be treated effectively. Avoid sun exposure, tanning and the use of sunless tanners. Arrive to your appointment with the area to be treated clean, freshly shaved, and free of product (all makeup and lotion).
