Collagen P.I.N.

What is the Collagen P.I.N.

The Collagen P.I.N. also called the Percutaneous Induction Needling. This is a method of inducing a controlled injury to the skin's dermal and epidermal junction. By doing this, we induce growth factors, new collagen and elastin.  This process causes much less damage to the epidermis than dermal rolling or any other ablative treatment. Thus, protecting the skin's cell growth making for quicker healing and higher rates of success.

Who can be treated and on what area of the body?

Collagen P.I.N. can safely be used on most skin types and treat a variety of concerns. Most all areas on the body can be treated unless your medical provider determines otherwise. Areas include face, neck, decolletage, hands, arms, legs, abdomen, or back.

How many Collagen P.I.N. treatments will I need?

Typically a series of 3-6 treatments is recommended. Treatments are usually spaced in 4 weeks intervals. If a patient has advanced sun damage, stretch marks, or any type of scars you may need up to 6 or more treatments to achieve your desired results.

Will the Collagen P.I.N. procedure hurt?

A topical numbing agent will be applied by your medical provider 20-30 minutes prior to the treatment. Most patients report feeling very little to no pain at all where the topical agent has been placed.

How long will my Collagen P.I.N. results last?

Collagen P.I.N. produces results through the stimulation of growth factors and collagen, thereby, promoting new skin cells to surface. Your overall results will last longer when using an at home skin care regimen that includes a daily retinol product.

What will I look like after my treatment?

Collagen P.I.N. is considered a no downtown treatment. Immediately after your treatment your skin will look moderately red such as a light sunburn. A post treatment skincare regimen will be provided by your skincare specialist. This will also help with any redness you might experience due to the treatment.
